SAVHDA Calendar of Events – First Half of 2019

We have a busy season of SAVHDA Test Days, Seminars and Workshops planned for 2019. This year we are offering more Workshops involving handling for the SAVHDA Tests and training for specific Tests. Informal training days will take place monthly as well throughout the year.

CAPE

• W Cape is holding a series of Beginner Training Classes in January, as well as a couple of Workshops for specific tests, such as the Utility Test, and the Junior Versatile and Novice Hunting Tests.
• SAVHDA Tests - March 23-24, and June 9
• In June, we have a visiting foreign Judge, Andreja Strajnar from Slovenia. She is a Judge for all of the German Tests, from their Junior (VJP) and Advanced (Solms/HZP), as well as the VGP (the German all-purpose Utility Test that includes field, water, forest and blood tracking). We plan to hold workshops for the training and judging of the Advanced Test (Solms/HZP). We will also hold a Test, with Andreja as a guest for the JVHT/NHT and Advanced Tests.

GAUTENG

• In Gauteng, regular Training Days are being offered on a monthly basis in NW Gauteng and in SE Gauteng! NW training meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month, SE training days meet monthly as determined by weather and venues.
